Deep Conditioning- Honey and coconut oil

I'm a really big fan of homemade deep conditioning treatments using household items. They are a great way to rejuvinate your hair and give it some well deserved love without having to shed a fortune on products. A couple of months ago, I tried the avacado, honey and evoo which you can check out here and it was FABULOUS! This time I tried out honey and coconut oil. Honey is a great humectant and coconut oil is one of the few natural oils that penetrate the hair shaft and get into the scalp, so its really good if your scalp needs some loving. I applied the treatment to freshly washed hair, working the treatment on my scalp and on the ends of my hair. I twisted my hair and the put a cap on and left for 20 minutes. When I was styling my hair I noticed that my hair felt soft, but not as soft as my avacado, honey and evoo treatment.
I got the receipe from this really great website here they've got loads of DIY home made treatments. I'll probably do this treatment again as I normally have these products lying around at home.
