GH, GH, GH

I cannot begin my first post of 2015 with a H A P P Y  N E W  Y E A R, I hope the new year has got off to a cracking start for you all. The festive season was A- AMAZING as I spent it with my immediate family and extended family in Ghana. I'm currently suffering from severe holiday blues as I arrived back to Madrid to sub zero conditions and a misplaced hot-water bottle!

I couldn't leave the motherland without some long locks,  I had to have something to show for my time away. It's like it's an unspoken rule you can't go to the motherland and not leave with some braids - it's virtually impossible [more than half the ladies on my flight back were all braided up] . I plan on keeping this braids in for no more than 8 weeks - anything more and I'll start having sleepless nights about my hairline! Thankfully these were not installed tightly not to mention I had one or 2 tricks up me sleeve to insure that there wasn't huge tension on my precious edges

I'll reveal my best kept secret about insuring your braids aren't installed too tight along the hairline during the week. It's simple yet incredibly effective.
